How to Measure Your Dog

Neck

Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits. Add 2cm for comfort.

Chest (Girth)

Measure the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.

Length

Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail along the spine.

Weight

Weigh your dog or check your last vet visit. If between sizes, size up.

Barrel-chested breeds (Staffy, Bulldog, French Bulldog, Pug): Size up in harnesses. Their chest girth is wider relative to their weight.

Dachshunds: Order one size up in length for coats and jumpers due to their elongated body shape. Chest should be S but length should be M.

Between Sizes?

If your dog is between sizes, always size up. A slightly loose fit is more comfortable and safer than a tight one. For human apparel, check the length column - if you prefer a relaxed fit, go one size up.
